Grants

• Apply to the We Rise Together Grant presented in collaboration with Allies for Community Business and the Small Business Advocacy Council. The We Rise Together Grant offers up to $12,500 for businesses to expand into a physical storefront. Apply by Friday, May 31.

Internships

• Chicago Housing Authority is now accepting applications for its 2024 CHA summer internship program.

• Representative Will Guzzardi is looking for a Community Outreach Intern. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 3.

• Apply to the CCH Scholarship Program. This scholarship will award $4,000 renewable college scholarships to at least five high school seniors who succeeded in school while experiencing homelessness. Apply by Friday, May 10.

Events

• Attend the 26th Ward and 4th District Housing Resource Fair on Monday, April 22 from 6:00 PM –8:00 PM.

• A Citywide Job Fair will be hosted on Thursday, April 25 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Malcolm X College Gymnasium.

• LGBTQIA+ Health and Housing Resource Fair will be hosted on Saturday, May 4 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Garfield Park Field House, 100 N Central Park Ave.
