- Cook County Public Defender's Office is seeking two Administrative Assistant II positions: a union role at Leighton Criminal Courthouse, and a non-union role located at 69 West Washington.
- Office of the City Clerk is seeking two Customer Account Representatives at its City Hall location at 121 N. LaSalle St. # 107. The deadline to apply is Friday, April 25 at 11:59 PM.
- Cook County Assessor's Office is hiring a Taxpayer Information Specialist II. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, April 30 at 11:59 PM.
- Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago is seeking a Truck Driver. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 2.
- Chicago Community Trust is seeking a Director, Impact Investments.
- Chicago Women's Health Center is hiring a Development Coordinator. Applications will be accepted through 9:00 AM on Monday, April 28.
- Illinois DCEO is hiring a Small Business Environmental Assistance Engineer and Audit and Resolutions Manager.
Trainings
- North Branch Works is seeking applicants for the Chicago Green Business Accelerator. Selected participants will gain access to resources, workshops, and one-on-one support to help position their businesses for success in the green economy. Those that complete the six-week program will receive a $2,500 grant to help with transition costs. The program launches on Monday, April 28.
- Applications are now being accepted for AMPT’s Antiracist Practice Cohort. This experience will provide Executive Directors with capacity-building tools, skills, and competencies necessary to help strengthen their organizational structures and practices that will better support them in fulfilling their mission. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 23 at 11:59 PM CDT. If you’re interested in learning more attend an Info Session on Thursday, May 8.

- Garfield Park Community Council and community partners are hosting a Health, Sports, and Fitness Expo on Saturday, April 26 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at The Hatchery. This expo will connect Garfield Park residents with resources available to the community that are aiming to increase life expectancy in Garfield Park. The event is free for all.
- Cook County Commissioner Alma E. Anaya, State Senator Celina Villanueva, and the YMCA are hosting a Job Fair on Saturday, April 26 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Rauner YMCA (2700 S. Western Ave). Meet with over 20+ employers, explore job openings, on-site interviews and resources.
- The 5th Annual Mother’s Day Block Party, presented by Alderwoman Monique L. Scott, is on Saturday, May 10 from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM at 3605 W. Fillmore St.
