Apply for a Small Business Microgrant presented by the IHCC Foundation. These microgrants are geared towards small businesses that have faced direct financial losses due to recent immigration enforcement activities in their neighborhoods. 52 grants of $5,000 each will be awarded to affected small businesses.
The deadline to apply is Monday, September 14.
The Neighborhood Market Grant Program, presented by the Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP) and Allies for Community Business (A4CB), supports food entrepreneurs and food-focused organizations in communities working to increase access to fresh, healthy and affordable food. This program will provide one-time grants to small retail food businesses operating a physical storefront in priority geographies across Chicago. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements.
The deadline to apply is Friday, September 25 at 12:00 PM CST.
Five new districts are eligible to apply for the Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF) presented by the Chicago Department of Planning and Development (DPD). The districts are 107th/Halsted, Fullerton/Milwaukee, LaSalle Central, Madison/Austin, and Woodlawn. Through SBIF, small business and property owners may be eligible to receive reimbursement grants for permanent building improvements and repairs.
The deadline to apply is Wednesday, September 30 at 5:00 PM.
Apply for the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready $10,000 National Grant. This grant is for owners of for-profit small businesses based in the United States, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands who are 18 or older. Applicants must meet all of the eligibility requirements. This grant will award $10,000 grants monthly to 10 small businesses from June to December 2026.
