Career Opportunities

  • Illinois Legal Aid Online is hiring a Bilingual Paralegal, Consumer Debt Solutions. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, February 18.

  • Erie House is hiring a Community Literacy Assistant, Human Resources Manager, Support Services Manager, and EHS Teacher Assistant (Center).

  • The Chicago Community Trust is hiring an Associate Philanthropic Advisor, Finance Coordinator, Program Specialist - Critical Needs, and Senior Director - Income & Assets.

  • Illinois DCEO is hiring a Regional Workforce Specialist.

  • mHUB is hiring a Senior Strategic Account Manager, HardTech Development Services (HDS).

  • Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority is hiring a Human Resource Office Coordinator.

Trainings

  • Applications are being accepted for the Neighborhood Entrepreneurship Lab (NEL) presented by Allies for Community Business. This cohort-based program pairs community entrepreneurs with investors, advisors, and strategists who provide project support and business connections. Each entrepreneur in the three-month program receives a $20,000 grant to grow their business. Apply before Sunday, February 8.

Internships

  • Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County is accepting applications for its 2026 Internship Program. The deadline to apply is Friday, March 27.

Events

  • BLC is hosting two Candidates Forums that will be held in February. The 2nd Congressional District Candidate Forum will be held on Thursday, February 12 from 5:30 -7:30 PM at Chicago Urban League Empowerment Center (8331 S. Stewart Ave). The 7th Congressional District Candidate Forum will be held on Thursday, February 19 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM at Malcolm X College (1900 W. Jackson Blvd).
