Career Opportunities

  • Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation is hiring a Budget Analyst for its Springfield location. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, May 20.

  • Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer, Secretary to Officer - Monitoring & Research, and Supervising Stores Specialist. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 23.

  • Cook County Assessor's Office is hiring an Exempt Analyst III. The deadline to apply is Sunday, May 25 at 11:59 PM.

  • Open Books is hiring a Manager of Retail Operations (West Loop). The deadline to apply is Monday, May 26.

  • Chicago Department of Planning and Development is seeking a Senior Land Acquisition/Disposition Officer - Bureau of Citywide Planning. The deadline to apply is Monday, May 26.

  • Housing Authority of Cook County is looking for a Senior Manager – Financial Reporting, Payroll Accounting Manager, Property Accountant, Deputy Chief Information Officer, Yardi Systems Analyst, Director of Development, Helpdesk Technician, and more.

  • Chicago Transit Authority is looking for Bus Mechanics. Candidates should have a valid Illinois Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a State of Illinois Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) along with a minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience OR a certificate/diploma in medium/heavy duty diesel engine vehicle repair from an accredited trade/vocational school or college.

  • Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities is hiring Paid Summer Interns. Applicants must be currently enrolled in or accepted to college, technical school or graduate school. Previous experience working with people with disabilities or in customer service preferred. The deadline to apply is Monday, May 26.

Proposals

  • Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership is looking for an external communications partner or creative agency to collaborate with on upcoming projects. Those interested should submit materials, including the requested documents, client and staff list, and names of team members who would work directly with them by Monday, May 19 at 5:00 PM.
